New TT - just saying hello.

Hello, my name is Eric. I purchased a 2011 Palomino Sabre 31QBDS six or so months ago in Ohio. I live in San Diego CA. We don't get to many vacation time so we take off for the weekend as often as we can. We have three young boys. We couldn't really afford the trailer but I figured why wait and buy it when they're all grown. We have had a lot of fun in it thus far and look forward to more. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah we love the layout. Three separate rooms with doors. 4 bunks for the kids and a large room for us. Coudnt be happier. We are already looking to retirement. We are going to sell our at the time paid off house and in turn buy a class A motorhome and a nice condo in Palm Springs. Then snow bird it until the end.

we feel exactly the same way.. you only live once, and the kids grow up so fast.. you blink, and they are grown.. i dont want to miss any time with them. what better way to spend time with them?? we will just deal with payments like we do everything else!!! happy camping!!!!!!!!!!

Congratulations on your camper! We did the same 8 years ago when the kids were 4 and we bought our first camper. We couldn't really afford it, but made it happen and have loved it. It is a great family experience and have many great memories. Make the most if it while you can, they grow so fast!

Congrats! We're waiting on our first TT after tenting it for 20+ years. I'm about 10 years from retirement. When I retire, I'll be the same age as my mom when she died. She told me not to wait; do the things you want to do before you run out of time or get sick. Take out a loan, mortgage the house - just DO it. Life is too short not to. I wish you much happiness and good times in your new TT. We should have purchased the TT YEARS ago, but tenting was fun too. Arthritis is setting in, so the new TT is sounding better and better. Good luck in your travels!
