New Windjammer 3006W

Wife and I just bought a new Windjammer 3006W. Will pick it up Tuesday. If anyone has any tips about this unit or things to watch for with Windjammers, I'd appreciate hearing them. Moving up from a Jayco 29bhs as we outgrew it.

Also would be curious if people have done any of the diamondkote, fabric protection or extended warranties. On the extended warranties, pricing for seven year plan with $50 deductible is pretty much best bang for the buck. Plan is with SAL Protection Plan. Just wondering if anyone has bought this and if so whether they used it and their experiences with it.

Thanks.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your new Windjammer 3006W. Make sure you read all the fine print on the extended warranty.

Welcome!

And congrats on the new TT. There are many happy Windjammer owners here on the forum.

As for the warranty questions, make sure to spend the $150 (maybe it is $200) to get the second year factory warranty from Forest River. I decided that the other extended warranties, which tend to cost thousands of dollars, were not likely to be worth the money in our case, but that is purely a matter of personal preference and finances.

Congrats on the new trailer and welcome to the v-nose family. We have the 3008W and are in our third season with it. Love it as much as the day we took delivery.
