I'm a Firefighter in Indianapolis and looking forward to retiring in 7 years, 4 months and 16 days... but who's counting! I get regular emails from another former firefighter who hit the road full-time almost 2 years ago. I'm terrilby jealous of both of you!

Have fun and enjoy the forum. There is a LOT of friendly expert advice to be had here.

Don't be too jealous, you'll look back in 7 year and wonder where they went.

Welcome to the forum. You will find a great deal of good information here as you wait for your new trailer. We retired last July and are finding 3 weeks out and then 2 -3 weeks home seems to work great for us.

Enjoy and be safe!

to the forums. Thank-you for your service also. You held a job in which many hoped they never had to see you, but were glad you were there when needed.

Hope you enjoy it here, and your new camper. One thing we have learned over many years of camping, the simpler we keep it, the more time we have to relax, and enjoy. Treat it like survival, food, water, shelter. Anything else is just a plus.
