Newbie

Hello, we are new to all this. My wife and I just purchased a 2014 sp-220 on 8/3/13 and I will pull it with my other wife a 2011 Silverado and as soon as we learn how to back-up and park we are hitting the road. I stayed up very late last night reading every ones threads and found it to be good reading and informative. We are happy to be part of your forum.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your 2014 SP-220. Tip for backing up, get the Silverado and camper straight. Put your hand at the bottom of the steering wheel. Move your hand/steering wheel in direction you want the back of the camper to go. You'll get the hang of it pretty quick.

Welcome from Cincinnati Ohio. There are several threads on the sp220 in the surveyor forum. They include some issues we have seen as well as some mods. Stop on by and let us know how it goes. Practicing backing up is a good idea...but I didn't go that route. Went straight camping a figured it out there . Either way don't be a stranger!
