Newbie Buying WolfPup Out of State Saga

Hi everyone we did a thing last week. After going nowhere and in house for 6 months and watching Traveling Robert and many other U-Tube RV shows I narrowed it down to trailer I wanted.

Cross-over Toy Hauler, dry bath, full size refrigerator.

A few searches Enter WolfPup 18 RJ series.

Liked the look of 18RJBBL, White to reflect all heat , etc.

Because of virus “six” for sale in whole country, four already on sale pending.

We found one @ Liberty RV in Mo. We loaded up “old red” A 98 Ford Ranger, 4.0, Automatic, 3.73 axle and
Headed there by fastest route.

“Old Red” thru a check engine light code on Mount Eagle, it ran but melted some ERG Sensor thing on engine.

We continued on , got to Mo , got the Camper and Quickly realized after 100 miles of struggling “old red”
Needed to be fixed or replaced.

We stayed over Sun and went to a Ford dealer where they fixed it and back to motel before check out time.

Apple Maps no highways setting took us to see Lake of Ozarks and back roads.

Wind and rain came into picture as well as 75 mph down hit, 55 up OD off. Tires measured with heat gun
Front 110F, Rear 120F, Trailer 119F

I adjusted Blue Ox to 10 links and we made it home to Fl safely.

About $2 K Later I have Blue Ox WDH, new brake controller, sewer hoses and tote, phone cup holder thing, paw tv mount,rv insurance, Royal Purple gear , and transmission fluid, and bruises from complaints because we left on trip unprepared?

Now @ homebase I can figure out how to use this thing.Pictures attached for your enjoyment, if only
I Hope to get some dashcam of trip to share.

I noticed the propane tank cover, was not standard in 2019 on Wolf Pups.
I towed my 16BHS with a 2008 Explorer with same spec drive train and it worked but was weak power since I live in hills.
Towing with the 5.0 F150 is a night & day difference.

The F-150 upgrade

We made it home to Fl. There are no Hills, only Sun, Sand, and heat.

The heavier, longer, stronger F-150 is perfect tow vehicle my trailer vs new Ranger which is rated for 7500 lbs.

I am researching both for future.

Right now “old red” getting/got, new brake controller, Aluminum Differential cover, Royal Purple Engine, gear, and ATF, asking ATF cooler on backorder.

Thanks for your interest and response.
