I will say staying in it overnight as soon as you can allow you to flush out any issues that didn't "manifest" during the initial pick up/orientation.
Welcome from across the way just a bit (just north of Houston). You are right about that first overnighter. You will have more issues that manifest, but that's part of the fun. Just be sure you have the most useful tool you will ever need...a pen! Or pencil. And something to write these manifestations down on (or the electronic equivalent nowadays...the iPad et al) so you won't forget the next trip. Anyway, welcome, and hope to see you down the road!
