Smile Newbie from Michigan!

Husband and I just ordered a 2013 Rockwood Roo 25RS!! This camper seem to suit our needs - lots of room inside, bunk for kids etc. We have been tent campers for so long and well it's time to upgrade!! Our boys are really excitied too!! Should be here about 6 weeks! Anyone else from Michigan too?

Any advice or tips to share would be great!! Thanks

Congratulations on your new Roo. This is a newer model IIRC but there was one other poster who ordered the 25RS just recently. Check out the Roo subforum for his thread.

Also, there is a Central USA subforum that you might like to look at for any other Michaganders (that's what you call yourselves, right?)

Anyway, welcome and have fun with your new trailer!

Congrats and Welcome! You live in a beautiful state with lots of nice camp grounds... at least that's what my sister and brother in law tell me. I haven't actually got to camp there yet, but visited enough times to know it sure is pretty!

WrightsCamp, I'm from clinton Twp. MI. You will love a hard side trailer. We started in a tent, pop-up, 12' trailer, 22't, 30't and now a 27' fw. Tell the truth........you and your husband are more excited than the kids...

My husband and I both grew up in Clinton Township, we both went to Chippewa Valley. We live in New Haven now, so only a few minutes up Gratiot.

Smile Looks like lots of Michiganders.

We're from Grand Ledge Mi just West of Lansing. Hiding from all that Mi. wet weather, ice and snow in Casa Grande AZ for the winter. Have fun camping.

Welcome to the forum.
