Newbie from MN
Hello all, I just picked up a 2016 Grey Wolf 14NB. It's a fish house/camper. I call it a fish house, my wife calls it a camper. I've seen a few Grey Wolf fish houses on the road, but haven't seen anyone on here that has one yet. Some of you southern folk probably have no idea what a fish house even is, so think of it as basically a camper with holes cut in the floor. Yes, the ice gets thick enough to drive on around here, and yes, you drill holes through the ice and fish out of them! It's basically boondocking, but on a frozen lake in subzero temperatures. The 14NB is 6.5' wide x 14' long, with a 3' V front. It's very basic as far as campers go (no on-board water), but it's pretty nice for a fish house! My family and I live near Itasca State Park in northern MN. I plan on using the 14NB equally in the winter and summer months. It'll be a little cramped with us, our 3 small kids, and one large dog, but it's a big upgrade from tenting it!
