Newbie from MO

We pick up our 2010 Salem 26tbud on Tuesday! So excited I can't wait! I've read all the threads on this camper I could find. This is our first TT. Had a popup before and we need more room with 4 kids and 2 dogs! Any advice would be great. TV is a 2007 Nissan Armada. Hopefully we don't pack too much in!

Welcome from west central Missouri. There is lot of great knowledge here and awesome Forest River Forum (FRF) friends, so don't hesitate to ask questions and share your experiences.

Congratulations and Happy Camping!!!

Only recommendation I would have is, pack light. I believe you're pushing the max towing capabilities of your Armada and be sure to get a good weight distribution hitch.

Lots of MO folks on here and we have a tendency to cross paths around the state campgrounds. Enjoy that new trailer.

Ajoneal--wife and I basically call Wallace State Park near Cameron our home campground. Loop 2, IMO, offers the better sites and the restrooms are always immaculate. Some good hiking trails, just a small lake, a great place to kick up your feet and relax. We average about 4 weekend getaways a season at that park. Enjoy!

Welcome to the forum from the east side of the state, where "soda" is "soda"

Try the Corps of Engineers campground at Lake Perry, out near Topeka. We were there just a couple of weeks ago and really, really enjoyed it. Because it sits out on a point in the lake, most of the sites have a great lake view.

Welcome and enjoy! My wife and I agree with Old Car, Wallace State Park is our favorite! Clean facilities and friendly hosts. Again, welcome and enjoy the new TT!
