Newbie from North Carolina
Hello Everyone! So glad to have found this site. New to this so I know we will have many questions and know we will get good advice. Our first trip is planned for May and we will be going West for a month. Love reading the threads, so keep up the good work so I can learn.

Welcome from right up the road in Mebane, NC. Spring weather is great around here for camping so why wait for May? We start our season in March and camp through November every year. We have even bern known to camp in January and February if weather allows.

Glad to see another from NC camping.
May??? That is a long way off. There is a Samboree in Tabor City in April which would be a great time to start. Hope to see you there!

Thanks Everyone for Welcoming us! We are so excited about camping and can hardly wait. But as normal doc spots, New grandbabies due and birthdays our calendar seems to be full. We are trying to work in a shake down run even if it is in the backyard! How do you manage to camp in the Winter after you have winterized the camper?

For us we are de-winterizing and re-winterizing. The weather is just too good not to camp this weekend.
