Newbie (in more than one way!) from Southern DE
Hi all!
New forum member PLUS new to camping/RVing! We live in Southern DE and have access to a couple close places (Trap Pond, Killen's Pond), and a few more within an hour or two (Chincoteague/Assateague, Lancaster, etc).
Wife and I bought what we thought was a small project several years ago (1999 Coleman/Fleetwood Mesa PUP) that turned out like it needed a LOT of help. We sold it after only a couple weeks and never used it.
We are in an agreement with a seller that needs to wrap up banking to get title on her 2017 Apex Nano 193BHS.
We are super pumped about it! It's us and our 10 year old son (and maybe an occasional friend/relative) that will be going.
We're planning on hitting close ones first couple times to get our "sea legs" before venturing out further or up in any mountains. We driven through Skyline Drive on the way home from Massanutten, been through the Adirondacks, up around Lancaster, etc, and ALL are areas we'd like to try to camp.
The wife has fond memories of camping as a kid. I never did any, but we want to try to share that "nostalgic" feeling with our son.
Anyway, thanks for reading!
Steve
