Newbie looking to buy Class C FR Forester

Hello,

I’m looking to get a 2018 Forest River Forester 2431GTS. Does anyone have experience driving this or similar sized unit? I’m most concerned about sway and getting push around by 18 wheelers, crosswinds, etc

Thinking of getting a sway bar right away

Thanks in advance for any and all comments and suggestions

Welcome to the forum. If you post over in the Forester Sunseeker forum there is a member, KenandTerry, who has a 2430 who should be able to answer your questions.

I have a 2018 Sunseeker 2430S. I’ve been very impressed with how it handles and had a lot of years driving a Class A Georgetown to compare.
This style of unit (commonly called a B+ because it has NO beds over the cab)
handles sway and cross winds better than the Georgetown ever did. It’s very aerodynamic and handles the roads easily.
For the record, we travel fairly heavy and I run the following pressures….
Rear tires 80 psi
Front tires 70 psi
Ride Rite air bags 60 psi.

No other mods.
