Newbie to small camp trailer: Coachmen Clipper 12.0TD Max

Greetings, All.
FINALLY bought a new 2022 Coachmen Clipper 12.0TD Max after threatening to get something for back country/boondock/offgrid camping for about 5 years now!! Tent camping is too much effort.

Already looking for tips to winterize my new Piggy before we take her out next month (Spring Break)...bought her in Georgetown, TX (sea level and 50-60 degrees) and drove home Cloudcroft, NM (8,500 ft and subfreezing nights). I have emptied all water and purged something with pressure...See! New to this - I do not know what everything is called.

I am trying to catch up on all the included literature and watch YouTube vids...

Any tips are welcome! Thanks!

Hi and Welcome to FRF.
You're probably the first here, to own any from that product line, as it is brand new.

You have a bike door? Very nice.
You'll get the lingo pretty quickly. Sounds like you blew out the water lines with compressed air (hopefully under 40psi). If you're going camping in below freezing weather, leave the lines blown out and perhaps winterizing by putting in rv antifreeze. Use bottled water for cleaning, cooking and hand washing.
A rug on the floor helps keep your feet warm and if you're going to have electric, a small space heater helps. We always carry a sleeping bag as a comforter because one of us freezes easily.
Welcome to the forum from a former tent camper. Enjoy!

Hot water heater and all drain traps need to be properly winterized too.

Welcome to the forums. I agree about tent camping being a lot of work. Back when I was young it was so much easier than now.

Have fun with your new RV.
