Smile Newbies from Central Florida

Hi. We're new to the whole camping thing and just recently purchased our first travel trailer, a 32 foot Surveyor.
We're currently enjoying our maiden voyage at Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral, FL. So far, so good except for some newbie errors. I didn't know about the GFI on the outlet and couldn't figure out why the coffee maker, toaster and tv didn't work. Then I couldn't figure out how to light the oven so ended up slicing the French bread up and warming it up in the toaster, lol.
I'm hoping we can get away at least one weekend a month. My boyfriend is retired but I still work so it could be challenging.
Happy to have found theses forums.

Welcome from CT, after you get used to the trailer get a pizza stone for the oven it keeps things from getting burned if you use the oven a lot. (We do and it made a big difference for baking) enjoy your RV!
