Nothing about our RV. What are the basics we need to know for set up ? It will be land powered . Does this fifth wheel have a built in surge protector ?

Unfortunately, there are no manuals for most rvs. The manuals are usually appliance type manuals which are usually available from the individual manufacturers.
Since you don't know if you've got a built in EMS, you might want to pick up a portable one. It's possible that the previous owner installed one, but to be safe, a portable one will help protect the rig.
As to set up, whoever you bought it from should have done a walkthrough. Your other alternative is to watch a couple of YouTube videos of how to set up a 5th wheel. Perhaps someone else will drop in here and give you some instructions.
