No More Airports!!!

Just used some of our 'Kid's Inheritance' to buy a new Dodge Ram Laramie 2500 Super Duty 6.4L Hemi and a Prime Time Crusader 295RST 5th wheel.
We used to go 'caravanning' (as they call it in the UK) a lot when we lived over there and regretted having to sell our travel trailer when we moved over here to retire in 2011.
Now at last we can get back on the road! I spent a lot of my time traveling in my career - seen far too many airports and hotel rooms around the globe, so now really looking forward to exploring my adopted Country and keeping my wheels firmly on the ground. http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...lies/smile.gif

So Different!!

Thanks - yeh we love the Crusader. I especially like the fact that everything is only a button press away - LOL. In the UK even with a reasonably upmarket rig there was a lot of manual cranking, turning, lifting etc involved!
The only scary thing for me is the sheer size of everything. In the UK with their narrow roads and all, the maximum you could haul with a normal car was 22ft.
With the Ram and the Crusader connected I think I need binoculars to see the rear end - Ha Ha!
