Noiseeee Help

I am new to this. Two maiden voyages under my RV Belt.
However my tow kit is intense, I have the anti-sway and anti-roll bars as part of my durango ROO tow setup. When i turn...god awful screeching/squeeling/grinding noises, this cant be normal, can it? any tips/tricks you guys know to help a new guy out? thanks.

I know my anti sway screeches when it turns, but over time as it's worn in it makes less noise. Basically it's the noise of the anti sway doing it's job, and fighting against the trailer turning.

Yep. Sounds like my Equalizer. I love it.

My Equalizer makes a lot of noise. I know you need the friction for it to work properly, but I put a small amount of greese on the brackets and it helps to quiet it down some without a change in performance.

The noise you describe is normal...however, if you find that you just can't stand the "screeching", give the Blue Ox WDH products a look...we really like ours.

the OP said "anti-sway" bars, not weight bars. the Equalizer's bars are technically weight bars, not like friction anti-sway bars that are added to chain link WDHs.
most of the Equalizer's anti-sway control, is in the head unit.

so, unless the OP posts the brand of WDH, i'm assuming it's a chain link type WDH with add-on friction anti-sway bars.
