I tent & popup camped with my parents and siblings when I was a kid but DH never camped so it has been quite the process getting him to think it was his idea to get a motorhome. He found one last spring (a Trail Lite 213) and we cramped (nooo not a spelling mistake!) quite a bit last summer. We refer to it as the "short bus" and wow...is it ever short but it served it's purpose and Stage II of my master plan got underway much sooner than I expected.
A couple of months ago, DH mentioned something about looking for a Class C with no slides and a bed in the back. Now all of a sudden, we have a Class A with a bed in the back and TWO slides!
I'm still not quite sure how our Class C hunt morphed into the G'town but I'm not complaining. We pick up our Georgetown 280DS in a couple of weeks and our short bus is on it's way to it's new home. So.. in less than a year we've moved from a B+ to a Class A. My plan was more successful than I ever imagined.
I've been told that it's not camping in a rig like that and the correct term is "traveling"
but which ever it is, I'm looking forward to learning from other G'town owners and being able to contribute when I can to the forum.
