NorCal newish to RVlife

Howdy from NorCal, checking in and already posted my primary issue in the forums.

Been living the rural lifestyle here in NorCal going on two/three years. And loving every minute of it.

Ex-nomad familiar with some of the continental US. Places like Wyoming, New Mexico, Nor Calif and Oregon/Washington state.

Look forward to conversing...

If you looked at their profile, it says Ukiah, which is why I mentioned that I was from Cloverdale. So yes, real NorCal.

As I recall, Cloverdale in the 60's was a notorious speed trap

Yep because Highway 101 used to go through the town and its single stoplight. Now the entire town has been bypassed by a newer 4 lane section of the 101.

As I recall, Highway 101 used to go through Petaluma, Cloverdale, Ukiah and Willits. Willits is the last of those communities to get a bypass, now. Although there is some speculation, that they may bypass Hopland at some point soon.

I grew up in Sonoma Valley before moving to Cloverdale, during the 60's and 70's.
I remember 101 being re-routed through Petaluma and Ukiah. Cloverdale and Willits were done after I left. Can't see Hopland surviving when they get bypassed. I still am proud of being from the area. Great childhood environment, back then.
