Not So New To RVing

We've been camping off and on for years. Started in the 70's tent camping with our kids at the lake, then in the early 80's moved to a 24' travel trailer. By the late 80's we had moved into a class c motorhome. Had three different ones moving up to a bit larger and ones with slides each time. Then just when we sold our last one my inlaws health turned bad so we put off buying for a while to spend time and help to take care of them. Motorcycle riding has always been another passion of our's. Started riding back in out teens and earlier for my husband. So this time around we decided to combine our passion for riding and camping and just purchased a nearly new 2012 Forest River Thunderbolt XLR AMP. Only had it out once so far for a long weekend in the mountains and absolutely loved it!! Because of some remodeling work at the family business we haven't been able to go out this month with it, but come October we're leaving for a week or so and can hardly wait to get on the road. Already planing a trip up north next June and hopefully a few other trips too. Loving our time in the rv!!
