Our 1st Hybrid
Hi everyone. My wife and I have recently upgraded from a popup TT to a hybrid, an 08’ Rockwood Roo 21SS. Since we bought it just before winter we haven’t yet taken it out. Need to wait until April to pull out of storage when it warms up and the snow has melted. Can’t wait to begin work on all the mods and upgrades planned. Looking forward to being a part of this group! 😃

I had a 2014 Roo 21ss. It worked well for us for several years. Best thing I did was to use heavy duty emergency blankets on the bunks to keep the temps down. They were held in place with cheap spring clamps from Harbor Freight. Unless you plan on leaving the bunk windows open for air flow, the AC will struggle with the sun on those bunks.
Welcome to the forum. Enjoy!

Popup Gizmos. Worth every penny. Keeps the heat at bay in the summer and keeps the bunks warmer in the winter. We used them on our popup and now on our Roo.

I looked at those but I only had $30-$35 in my space blankets. If you can get the bunk closed without removing the Gizmos it would save a lot of set up hassle.

My gizmos are attached for the season. I take them off for winter storage. It took me a few tries to find the right adhesive backed stitch and loop strips to mount to the Roo, but once I did it has been great.

I often consider the gizmos but take a pass.
We've camped in the desert and while we've never needed a snowsuit inside it was plenty cool.
