Welcome to RVing and the forum. Hope you have as good of luck with your Surveyor as we have. We love ours! This is a great place to get info. There's plenty to learn and a lot of help here. Don't be afraid to ask questions. Most of us didn't know anything when we started and we are still learning.

Rookie as well. Bought our first camper three days ago. 273QBXL. I’ve been learning a lot on here so far. Seems like we are off on the right foot by signing up on FR forums. Good luck to you and yours

Thank you for the warm welcome.

Thank you all,
We live in northern California and took our shakedown trip to the little town of Washington, CA for 2 days. Managed to not have any major mistakes, but learned plenty. Even managed to dump the holding tanks and not have the "RV" poop geyser 😂 (one of my biggest fears!).

Welcome to camping. There is planning and effort involved but don't make it too big of a production or it just becomes a bunch of chores.

You will make mistakes. Everyone else did, and survived. Don't worry about it. Relax and enjoy camping.

Take a few short trips nearby to figure out how things work, where to put stuff, what you forgot and what you can do without. Walmart is never far away.
