PDI walk through question

We are scheduled to pick up our Motorhome tomorrow from the dealer which is only two miles from our house. We just received a call saying they had to send back the backup camera and the tv in the bedroom and are awaiting delivery. It should take 2-3 weeks before it would arrive and be installed. Should I continue with the scheduled PDI and bring the motorhome back in when the receive the parts or just let them hold it there until everything is operating properly. Again the dealer is very close to our house so getting it there is not a problem.

I'd say at least do the PDI. You might find other things that need attention. See how that plays out before making the decision to bring it home.

The decision is yours but just remember once you sign the paperwork and hand over the check the MH is yours. If they had it on their lot they might expedite the camera and tv installation.

I'd tell them that when it is ready and complete I'll come in and go through the PDI then.

don't sign nothing until all work is done. Go through PDI (do not sign anything) and if find anything wrong, have them fix it. Then wait for the TV and camera. When all is done and fixed, then sign only if you are happy with it.

My suggestion is to go through the PDI, as stated above, perhaps there will be other things that require attention, then don't sign off on it until all systems are in place and operable to your satisfactioni.

PDI

Well I did the PDI which they said should take 30-45 and lasted about 3 hours because of all the questions I had. I had them write a list of items that were going to be completed and scheduled an appointment to bring MH back to the dealer. We purchased our TT from the same dealer and they have been very helpful and accommodating throughout. I live two miles from dealership and was told to swing by if I ever had any questions about the MH systems and needed a refresher. Anyone familiar with how to bypass having the parking brake to watch DVD off dash so kids can watch movies while driving. I saw it in a post but cannot see to find it now. Thanks
