Philip and Pam

Hello all.

We recently purchased a Brookstone 344FL and a RAM 3500 so we can travel to New England and visit our children and grandchildren following a long COVID hiatus.

We've been campers for many years starting with a Coleman pop-up, then a 27' Sportsman travel trailer, then a 35' Kropf park model and now a 5th wheel.

Were looking for advice on owning and operating a 5th wheel, things like a generator, leveling assists, truck bed cover, etc.

Also, we've question about our rig and hoping to find fellow 344FL owners to bounce question off of.

Welcome to the forum! Fifth wheels are definitely the ticket when it comes to long hauls - they tow very well. The downside is that you lose the bed space in the truck. But most fiver owners agree that it's worth it - me included. You will no doubt enjoy it, especially getting to see kids and grandkids!
