Really very new to this

Just purchased a 2016 Rockwood 2304DS.. This is our first travel trailer and we are new to all of this.. Read this forum for many months prior to purchase learning many ins & outs.. We love the coast line here so will try to spend most of our time on the Calif. north coast and Oregon coast.. Any suggestions for complete newbies would be appreciated along with suggestions on camp sites.. Thanks for any help given, we hope to enjoy this new adventure..

Welcome from Ontario and congratulations on your new trailer. Take your first night in your driveway, best place to find out something is not working.

Welcome from Chilly Canada....and yes camp in your driveway for a night or two, you will figure out exactly what you need. Which will come in handy to be at home to run in the house and get it, rather than being 150 miles from home and have to buy it at Walmart etc.

in 2014 i rode my beemer from portland, OR down the coast to LA then across thru az, nv, ut, co, ks, ark, then home.... it was a ride of a life time. i relate this only to say i wish i lived where you are as i think i would live in the RV. :-)

Welcome from N. California. We recently purchased a 2016 Rockwood 2304DS also. We love it so far and will also be camping along the northern CA/Oregon coast. My wife loves to sit in it in our RV carport and watch movies. She decorated it for Christmas and regularly takes our dog into the trailer to get him used to it. We have camped so far in Illinois, Oklahoma, New Mexico and California. It works great and pulls well behind our 2006 Toyota Tundra. We have a 4-point Equal-i-zer hitch and it keeps the trailer rock steady when we're traveling. I hope you enjoy yours as much as we're enjoying ours.
