Smile Rockwood mini-lite

We are considering purchasing a Rockwood mini lite 2512S. We have been doing the research by reading forums and watching videos.
They seem to be very well made. We are concerned about the height of the trailer and how it tows in windy conditions.
We like the theater seating and the dinette configuration.
Any input would be appreciated.

BTW, newbie to the forum. Looking forward to learning about the Rockwood/Flagstaff TTs

Welcome to the forum. lot of knowledgeable folks to help you with your questions. You may get some feed back here on your question but better response if you post it under the Rockwood thread. Good luck on your upcomming purchase. Make sure to do a good PDI ( a list of things to do for a PDI can be found in the Library listed in the above green header) Later RJD

Rockwood/Flagstaff trailers will tow just like any conventional travel trailer, in windy conditions. You need to realize you're pulling a big sail/box behind you.
The key is an adequate tow vehicle and a good WDH with integrated sway control.
You don't have your tow vehicle listed in your profile. Please post vehicle info and if you have a WDH yet.

We have the 2511s and really like the lay out, Tows really well with my 2015 Ram 2500 crew cab, Like previously mentioned it's all about the tow vehicle and weight distributing hitch. Welcome to the forum from New Jersey

Towing

Thanks everyone. We will be towing with a 2018 Ford F150 3.5 eco with max. tow package. Can it easily tow the 2511S. The FR website says it has a dry weight of 5117. A bit lighter than the 2512S.
