Rockwood mini lite 2506s windows

Hello all!

Excited to be a part of the forum! I was a previous r-pod 179 owned and now a Rockwood mini lite 2506s.

I have a question about the windows. They donít seem to open as our R-pod windows did. These windows have a turn latch at the bottom of the window, but then they donít seem to open at all after unlatching them. Any suggestions?

Thanks!
Dan

Welcome to the forum its a great place to get your questions answered. If you are talking about frameless windows they only open about 6 to 8 inches or so and may be hard to turn the handle to get them started.

Thank you

Thanks! Yes, they were very tight to begin with and felt like they would break when turning the handle, but it eventually gave and opened.

Mine would take quite a bit of force to get them to open after sitting for an extended time ... the glass really seals strongly to the trailer gasket.

Frameless windows. They look awesome. Functionality is absolutely terrible. Some RV brands are starting to migrate away from them back to the traditional style (e.g., Jayco's top-of-the-line Eagle and Eagle HT branded trailers) ... it turns out that many folks actually like air flow in their RVs.
