New to this forum, but not to owning a camper. We love the outdoors and riding our Harley, so combined the two in 2007 buying a used toy hauler. We spent our 10 day honeymoon in Cherokee NC in our little old Fun Runner. Three years and thousands of miles later, the old girl was needing constant repairs so I sold her.
Three years later the camping bug was still strong, so we dove in for round two. This time buying a new 2014 XLR 27HFS - yes another toy hauler. The floor design is perfect for the two of us and my Tundra only struggles up steep mountains. One of the big lessons learned from the first camper: I invested in a top of the line Reese load balancing anti-sway hitch. Now my life does not flash before me as a semi passes me on a downslope.
