Question Salem 27bhbs

I recently saw a Salem 27BHBS TT. I really like the design but I don't know much about the brand. What is the general opinion about Salem TT?

I don't have a response on the Salem models, but I would like to welcome you to the forums!

I'm sure someone here can help you out.

I really like mine. It has all the features I need and more, and overall I'm happy with construction and design. Dollar for dollar it can't be beat. I would probably not go with a LE model or any lower-cost versions of a layout offered by any manufacturer due the lighter materials in construction (thinner roof decks, etc) and the slightly sparcer equiping, but others with LEs might disagree, and those who tow could certainly argue that the lighter weight is a real benefit.

Hey Fitz,

We just picked up our new Salem LA 272bhss, We haven't made are first trip yet but I'm very happy with construction and design. We looked at many different Brands of TT's and we felt that the Salem LA had the most to offer for the amount of money we wanted to spend.

I went with the 2007 Salem LE 27BHBS it has a very nice floor plan. There are some things that its lacking i.e. counter space for food preperation but overall it had everything that I that I was looking for.

I just picked up the wildwood LE 27bhbs. Too new to tell you about any problems, this is my first TT and I am loving it. Like Fitz said could use a little more counter space, I added sink and stove covers, I wish I didn't need to open the slide to use the bathroom. The mattress was real lumpy so we got a queen memory foam off ebay and sliced a few inches off the end. But all very minor problems. The kids love the bunks and have used the both in and out. I understand that it is not the top of the line trailer but for $14K brand new I am very pleased. I'd love to hear from others who have had more time with this model.

We just bought a wildwood LE 29BHBS. We liked the layout, two slides, etc. I think it may be similar to the salem, not sure. we havent used the tt yet, we hope it goes well. we are ordering sink covers and a counter flip down extender to add more counter space. we love the extensive storage inside and outside.

ours has the bathroom across from the back bunk slide. we can enter the bathroom via an external door and i am unsure if the slide would prevent access to our bathroom internally, interesting observation. we like the flip mount for the tv and the large kitchenette. i also think we will be adding to the bed mattress. the layout and a few special item sold us.

hope you enjoy your new tt

I just got a 29 LE BHBS.

can bicycles be stored inside for travel, I havent been able to see the tt much and was wondering if bikes would go through the doors, i think the doors are about 30 wide. do you have any experience doing this. with the slides in, there still is an aisle space within the tt, correct? i didnt want to use a clamp on my bumper or the ladder, neither are real structurally stable.

thanks
