SO Cals the Place we wanna be

Purchased a 2011 24TBSS recently, love it! Taken a few trips around California...we had a GRAND time...but sure had a lot of problems with our unit.

Looking forward to finding out more info about our new rig. We live full time in Southern California in a 5th Wheel, but purchased this TT to get around a bit easier.

We've traveled around the country twice in our 5th wheel...love the RV lifestyle.

...so we loaded up the truck and moved to Beverly. Hills that is. Swimming pools. Movie stars.

I have had 2012 24TBSS for about 2.5 months so far and love it. We have taken it around California a few times as well. The only problem we have had besides some nuisance drawers that refuse to stay closed is that we discovered one of the pieces of plywood in the flooring had a hole in it. It was in the couch area and only noticeable when the slideout was fully extended. (The linoleum was soft in a spot which is how it was discovered) The dealer and I couldn't figure out what happened at the factory. Our only explanation was that somebody perhaps misdrilled a piece of floor stock but then thought they could use the board anyway. The dealer repaired it and it was an easy repair but it shouldn't have left the factory that way.

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on the TT! Sorry to hear you are having problems. We also had quite a few issues with ours when new. Forest river was good about standing behind their product and finally getting everything right and ours has been trouble free for some time now. Just wish they could put as much effort into the initial quality as they do into to repairing everything later. Good luck.
