Soon to be nomads

Not new to RVs but planning to take the show on the road next year. Getting the 5th wheel as shipshape as possible before then. Currently living in central Texas and wanting to escape the summer heat but life got in the way the last couple years. So it’s now or never and we’re choosing now.

Awesome! Have been fulltime for the past 4.5 years with my family of 4. We've been coast to coast and have loved it.

It's not all sunshine and rainbows. Crap happens. Sometimes catastrophic. But we've bounced back each time and the good outweighs the bad.

Where are you thinking of heading first when you hit the road?

We're here for you when you're ready to come travel. My family and I fulltime and one of the newest subgroups of "Fulltime Families" is a LGBTQ+ branch. We actually have quite a thriving group.

We stayed in Payson last year for 2 weeks. Nice campground right in town. We were there in late may. Just started getting hot. Monsoons start in mid June.

Went from there to monte verde national park in south Colorado. Beautiful country

BOO-BOO,

Hi and Welcome!

I see in one of your photos you have the awning tied down.

Can't tell from the photo but if you don't have awning tie down poles attached to your awning arms, these newer electric awning arms will not withstand much force. Using the poles eliminates any force put on them and the sidewall of the R/V.

Just do a forum search for awning poles.
