I wanted to thank you all for shariing your experiences. I lurked here for a while before deciding to buy a Forest River product. We looked at Rockwoods, Flagstaffs, and Sabres. Ultimately, we decided on a 2011 Sabre 31rlds and will pick it up in about a week.

We have been RVing for about 5 years and we are far from full timers. We typically go less than 5 times a year. However, now that we spent so much on this Sabre, we will have to go more often to justify the expense.

Any immediate (or mandatory) mods I need to consider for this unit?

Thanks for the welcome.

We took the Sabre for its first outing this weekend. Love the RV except the stereo doesn't work! Big bummer since the rear entertainment was what caused us to fall in love with this unit. AM/FM works but no DVD and no TV through the surround. I spent a big part of last night and all morning this morning trying to fix it to no avail. Huge bummer. I've emailed Mr. Fields to see if he has any suggestions.

I hope the rest of the trailer serves us better than the stereo.
