Thanks for having me! (And get ready for a lot of stupid questions!)

Late this summer my girlfriend bought a camper; which means I have a lot to learn...

As a kid, we had a truck camper, and had many fun adventures. I eventually transitioned to backpacking and ultimately "Army camping." While my outdoor skills are pretty darn good, I've got a lot to learn about trailers.

My GF has a nice piece of private property with a concrete pad, electrical hookup, and water (Her parents were RV'ers). This will be most of our camping for the immediate future; besides it's beautiful and private. (And her tow vehicle is at its max.)

We can almost back in without yelling at each other

We've got a lot to learn, but with your help we'll get there!

Welcome to the forum.
You can also research subjects via the search button.
"tow vehicle is at its max" should raise a few comments

Sounds like you've got an ideal place to learn about camping in a trailer. With your camping experience it's not going to take you long to learn. There are a lot of YouTube videos about trailer camping. As to backing up... just make certain the driver can see the 'guider' at all times.

Welcome to the forum! We're happy to have you. This is a great place to get your questions answered (and ask seemingly dumb ones) about all things camping / RVing. Believe me, we've contributed our share of questions. Everyone's been pretty awesome so far to us in our year of being former tent campers / RV Newbies
