Thomas Payne couch

Hi , we are new to the forum so I’ll try to be brief, we just purchased a 2008 Lexington 300ss and want to put a 68” trifold sleeper sofa, dealer says opening is 68” but a piece of plywood frame protruding from rear of dinette narrows to 66” to approx 18” from the floor Has anyone installed a 68” Thomas Payne sofa in one of these, dealer says they have to put in next size down which is 62”. Think this is two narrow. Want to use trifold because little extra bed length as opposed to jacknife sofa
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

That begs the question of whether or not the plywood frame can easily be rebuilt. What is it framing?

I am not sure it’s purpose, it extends out beyond the seat area frame, motorhome is 100 miles away at dealer, have to look at it myself I guess
