Took the plunge!
Hello everyone! My name is Chip. I’ve been camping in one form or another for the last 30 years. 3 years ago I bought a nice little pop up, used it and enjoyed it, but it just didn’t quite quench my thirst. I started researching bigger and better, and probably drove many around me crazy whilst I did it! Found a brand spanking new 2018 Salem 200RK a week ago, and knew in my heart of heart that this was the unit for me. I’ll be taking myself and my little buddy Rocky (my dog) on many weekend adventures. I think that he’s looking forward to it about as much as I am!
Thank you for allowing me to join this family and hoping that we’ll get to meet around a campfire and enjoy a cup of coffee and share our tales of the road!

It was, or still is, a 1996 Coleman Cedar. I got into it right, my dog loved it, and it served its purpose well. I made a few small repairs and upgrades, to make it “mine”.
Decided it was time to upgrade and get better creature comforts!

Chris, for what ever reason I just reread your question. I believe that you were asking what kind of dog that I had. It's strange how my mind went elsewhere!
Rocky is a 13 year old Miniature Pinscher, that weights all of about 9 pounds, but boy oh boy does he like to hang out in the trailer and sit beside the campfire with me!
