Trailering newbie

Greetings from Seattle! We have been attracted to Rv's for years and are moving closer to getting started. We really like a 24 foot Shadow Cruiser about 5K pound (empty) trailer towed by a 2018 GMC 2500 cargo van. Gmc says this has a towing capacity of 10K pounds.
I have experience driving big trucks and towing different things for construction. Does anyone have a similar setup? I worry about strong crosswinds on the highway. That 24 foot wall can generate some real force in the wind. Of course I will have a class 4 hitch with sway control and leveler bars and whatever else can help. The van has some weight to it as it has all my construction tools.
Thanks in advance for your input. Bruno

Hi and Welcome to FRF from Camano Island.
Shadow Cruiser is not a Forest River product so you'll have to provide more information about it and your tow vehicle.
Like what's the payload capacity of the van and trailer tongue weight and GVWR.

Welcome from SoCal!
I would think that proper setup will be extra important with two high profile vehicles because you will be more subject to sway and side winds.
