Not too many years ago we upgraded from the old '79 Chevy Camper Van to an 11' slide in truck camper. This happened when my wife turned fifty. I asked her what she wanted in a camper and she remarked a washroom, so we ended up with an 11' Kodiak Camper.
Several years ago my wife had knee surgery that did not go so well, so as time progressed it became more difficult for her to get in and out of the bed above the cab.
For several months now I have been researching trailers on the internet. Our camping lifestyle led us to purchasing a new 2010 Puma 27SBU Toyhauler two weeks ago. (Pics on Puma site).
I am on the verge of retirement with the prospects of some contract instructing. We also plan to use this unit for our home-away-from-home.
We are looking forward to the 2010 camping season as we are only able to camp eight weeks out of the year.

Now Tom that is really funny, because that is where I live. I emigrated west from Southern Ontario in 1973.

I would like to get out west next year,we just returned from a trip south and our baby sitting duties just kicked in,Our daughter and son-in-law will be putting their vacations together so we can travel on ocassion.This next year will be interesting for us.Where in Ontario are you from?

Hi Tom,

I was from Bellevile and then moved to Toronto for three years and hated every minute of the big city. Moved from there to Ft McMurray before ending up here on the island.

Your son and I could be neighbours as I also live on Kaltasin Road.
