We're excited to be part of this community

Hello all!
Without a lot of stress and sort of on a whim we purchased our first motor home today, Sunseeker 2890, in great condition. We will use for weekends going enduro racing and also trailer our touring BMW motorcycle.
We are new to this, any fellow Minnesotans have suggestions for the 4th of July weekend?

Hello and welcome. Congrats on the new MH. You might want to start calling around as many campgrounds book up way in advance for holiday weekends. Often times state parks have some walk up only sites but you will need to get there early and well in advance to get them. This is true over here on the east coast at least. Enjoy your new trailer!

Hi Jane & Joe,

Welcome aboard and congrats on the Sunseeker 2890 too!

Reservations for holidays are often booked pretty early especially for summer months. Depending on the state it's common to book 7-9 months in advance. It's also worthwhile to search for availability in case of cancellations.

Try checking out some campgrounds in your local area. Like many members here I took my first trip close to home and now that campground is a favorite spot for a quick get-away.
