Wildwood 22rbs

We just bought a Wildwood 22rbs because we really liked the floor plan and it was a great deal. We needed a change from our Hybrid Dutchmen 19T.
The kids are moving out and it is time for a couples coach. The thing is, it won't be ready until the spring and I want to know how big of a tv I can get for the new camper. With black Friday sales right around the corner I would like to know the size of the space right away.

Congratulations on your upgrade, Welcome from New Jersey, Too much tow vehicle is better then too little, And you never know when you just may want to upgrade the trailer again.

Hi and Welcome to FRF!
You need to post your tv size question, in the Wildwood sub-forum, since it's a model-specific question.

I knew that. In RV forum speak, TV- tow vehicle and tv- television.
Television size is dictated by how each RV is built and there is no standard size. Therefore it's specific to each model.

Hello, and welcome also from NJ! Thats a sweet looking trailer. I would suggest contacting Forest River for your answer. Ive contacted Coachmen and they've been great.

We Have the salem version of the 22rbs and they are essentially Identical. It says with ours you can have up to a 55" tv, but more realistically a 42" would be perfect. 55" seems too wide for the space. There is a nice 8-10" or bigger solid piece of wood down the middle of the back of the panel to attach your tv bracket to, so should handle the bigger TV. We went with a 32" but that is because I put a vinyl saying on the wall above the tv so that took up some space. The 32" would look a little small without having the vinyl above it to take up the space. I put a 19" in the bedroom. That worked out perfect in there.

We take our tv off the bracket when driving though. I don't trust it to fall or rip out of the wall ect. Takes 2 seconds to get it off. It would probably be fine to leave up, I am just paranoid! I already had to come up with a fix for the sliding door straps that kept popping when driving and the door was loose. Otherwise we love our 22rbs. Great floorplan.
