drip drip drip drip
I'm not sure how long this has been happening, but I recently noticed that I'm getting a pretty steady drip from the area around my water heater. There appears to be some sort of vertical pipe that hangs down under the coach and there is a slow (1 drip every 4 or 5 seconds) coming from that pipe. What is confusing me is that it's cold water. it does it if I'm parked or if I'm driving. Water pump or city.... doesn't increase or decrease with water usage and doesn't drip while stored.
The one thing I haven't checked is if it stops when I turn the heater off. My Father-in-law suggested that maybe it's not the water heater, rather the fridge's defrosting, processes or condensation. I don't think it's condensation because we live in the dessert. We have an average humidity of 3%. I can have a glass of ice water out on a 90 degree day and not have a drop of condensation on the outside.
Any thoughts?
Brian
