fuel capacity

I have a 2002 reflection 38' Diesel on freightliner chassis. the most gas I can put in at a time is 30 gallons. Is this a 100 gallon tank and do I have to worry about running out of fuel when light comes on after going only 200-250 miles?

You should never have to worry about running fuel out of top of gas tank because gas/diesel pumps have shut offs when tank if full. Second usually need to stand there since it is fuel.

This means my fuel warning light came on and even though gauge said I had between 1/4 and 1/2 full I stop to fill up and my 100 gallon tank only lets me pump in 30-32 gallons ever.
This keeps repeating itself

I went here RV Tech Library - Freightliner Chassis Spec Sheets

I just picked a 2002 chassis, and it indeed said 100 gallons. It also said dual fill. Maybe it is somehow two tanks?

Either that or your fuel gauge is messed up in side the tank. Does it say Full when tank is full?

The one other possibility is the credit (or debit) card you are using has some restriction on how much can be charged to a gas pump. I know that at one time, my card would only allow me to fill up to about $75 worth of gas. I had to call the bank and they told me it was a restriction they put in place to keep people from stealing your card and using it to steal a lot of gas. I told them that I had a large SUV and with gas prices they way they were, I easily had to put in over $75 in gas.

Another thing I noticed with my Reflections 327 with the two fuel fills, is that you need to open BOTH fuel caps when you are filling (at least loosen the one you are not using). I'm not sure if it's a venting thing or what, but if I'm filling up my tanks from nearly empty the fuel builds up in the neck of the tank and will shut the pumps off. If you open the cap on the side you are not filling from, it will allow the tank to [vent properly] and allow you to fill up your tank all the way.
