12 volt/USB charging stations installed in bunks.

I bought the outlets and fuse for $25, and I already had the wire on hand.

The hardest part was fishing the wire under the floor, then up the wall adjacent the bunks.

Hmm...good idea on a small fan. I just tapped into the lights and added the outlets with a small bracket.

I decided to go with a completely new circuit. I'm afraid my kids would push the limits by plugging too many things in at once.

Used 1.5 inch aluminum angle for the bracket and cut away where it goes under the light. Trimmed the light housing a little too. Marked where bolt holes line up and just used existing holes for now. Picked up the outlets from Walmart and used the existing case holes and longer screws. Pay attention to which wires are positive and negative- hook up wrong and you let the magic smoke out. Just remember that the ones that produced light like these turn into a night light- which just happen to be a the right angle and in my field of vision when sleeping.
