2018 Puma 5th wheel Toyhauler- side wall

Recently purchased my 2018 Puma 5th, outside ladder was came loose from side wall. Dealership states manufacturer did not want to repair. Dealership states they have to reinforce the sidewall with 2x4” ‘s. Does this sound normal? Brand new trailer, anyone else had this problem?

Sounds to me like the dealer just doesn't want to do it. Call the manufacturer yourself and/or take it somewhere else. An independent service only shop/mobile might give you better results on getting it fixed under warranty. And it should definitely be warrantied.

Same thing happened to one of my buddies on his brand new rig. First time he used the ladder, it came loose and dumped him on his rear. Turns out the factory missed the mount support. They moved the ladder and repaired/replaced the fiberglass and roof.

Dealership provides “warranty forever” and they will repair it. I just don’t understand how the wall would need support for the ladder if it was Manufactured as a toy hauler to have that ladder there. I guess it looks like manufacture forgot to put support on the wall.
Thanks !!
