2019 16FQ Wolf Pup Dometic Replacement

Has anyone replaced their Dometic 300 toilet with a Dometic 320 toilet with sprayer? It is under consideration here but I am trying to identify the pros and cons as well as whether it would fit or not without first removing the original 300 model.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Many folks have replaced the 300 with the 310 and 320 there are numerous threads about this you can read by using the search function at the top of the page or going to the library. The first step is the measure the space you have and match it to the specs.

2019 16FQ Wolf Pup Dometic Replacement

I have looked all over the forum. The question refers to a 16FQ specifically and installing a Dometic 320 in a Class A or large 5'ver seems to be of very little help. I am hoping to do the 320 rather than to try and upgrade a 310.

Thanks for your response.

I installed a 320 in my 26' FKWS flagstaff without a problem. just measure the distance you have to the rear wall to see if you have clearance, Many folks have made mods when the clearance was not there. Removing and replacing an RV toilet on the DIY scale is a one or two so very easy to do.

Our first camper had a sprayer because the toilet valve had broken. I found it far superior for flushing and cleaning.

Did you do the replacement? I have a RP17 (the toy hauler) but with same bathroom as you. I am also looking to see if the 320 will fit. it appears the clearance is 11 inches from back wall to center bolts. The mounting looks to be 3/4 of an inch too short from my measurements. Did you perform the upgrade to the elongated bowl 320 from the 300 plastic. Also did you consider going to the 321 which would make it shorter. I am 6'3" and the 300 is almost too tall for me now. Thinking of going with the shorter one and installing a bidet (use a lot less TP!!)

I have a Puma 32RBFQ and installed the Dometic 310 toilet with sprayer. We had to make a notch in the way that is about 1/2 wide by about 2 inches long to get the toilet to fit. The wand only works when the toilet is flushed.

If you just want the want you can buy one off amazon and install a Tee fitting on the water line and be done with it.

We did the upgrade because our Dometic 300 toilet was leaking due to a manufacturers defect.

do yourself a favor and get the shorter toilet with the sprayer. nothing like having your feet dangle into the shower pan. we replaced ours simply for that reason alone. the sprayer was a nice bonus. i cannot remember which model number we replaced it with though.
