Running on propane means the gen doesn't "stink", no gassy oil smell. We intend on leaving the gen in the truck bed, and running the hose to the BBQ when needed. I also purchased a Microair soft start so -hopefully- I can keep it on ECO mode because it is quieter. However, the Champion in non-ECO mode has no problem running the AC. I will video that whole process as the size of the soft-start has changed, not the same size as the videos that Microair has posted on youtube. Will do this in couple of days.

Just converted my Honda EU2000I to LP with Genconnex kit. According to them they recommend no longer then 12 feet on a 1/4 line or the generator may struggle with LP flow when under load. Longer runs they recommend 3/8 or larger off the 1/2 RV hard line.

It is a 5/16 ID line, and no problems running 3400 watt gen on full blast.
