35¢ LED lights

With an annual boondock trip coming in early November and 23 incandescent lights in the cabin I decided to find some LEDs without taking out a second mortgage. At 35¢ each, I couldn't pass, I ordered two twenty packs and replaced all of my interior lights. I chose the cool white light. They don't have the yellowish glow of incandescent and they don't get hot. Most LED manufacturers claim they last a lot longer but time will tell. Supposedly they only draw about 1/2 amp as opposed to the 10-12 amps of the original bulbs.

Be interesting to see if these turn blue after being on for a while. I purchased some cheap LEDs for my popup, cool white like yours, and after being on for about 30 minutes, they started to turn blue.
Was told that can be common with some LEDs. Replaced with more expensive LEDs and they remain bright white regardless of time on.

Do they cause interference on Radio or TV?

My only issue with these is I wonder how bright they are. Do they appear to give as much light as the incandescents??

We had some of these and used them when boondocking but the ones I have aren't as bright as the hot/incandescent ones. I had to swap them back and forth in the bathroom so DW could see better when we were on shore power.

Our new rig has LED ceiling lights but they mess with the TV!!
We never had any trouble with these little wedge base replacements interfering with the TV tho...

Can't speak for a trailer, but can for a truck and a home.

Installed some cheap ones in my 2013 Pickup for dome lights, and had problems with bluetooth connections with my phone. Replaced with a better LED and the interference went away.

In a home, LEDs can cause interference in some items. Purchase some from Home Depot, and could not use in my garage door opener. Online read some problems with garage door openers and some LED bulbs. Purchased more expensive bulbs and problem went away. Problem was if the bulbs were On, and I tried to close the door from the truck, it would not close. However, if the bulbs were Off, door would close. With the more expensive bulbs, all works fine.

But inside the house, which is 90 percent LEDs (other 10% is fluorescent) I have had no interference with any component.

Some info....

I also got these a few months ago. I used the warm white in most of the interior and use the cool white in the storage spaces and over the sink. No problems so far. (noise, burn-out or heat.). They are easily as bright as the standard incandescent. Actual measured current draw: 55ma on the LED's. (warm color) 900mA on the incandescent.

These cheap LED lights do not last long. I've converted my vehicles over to them and after 3-6 months tops, they start to flicker like a Christmas tree. You may get longer if they are not used often as I see with my dome lights inside, but lights like my license plate that are on at times several hours a day burn out quick.

I used them for a week on the remote Gunflint Trail. First thing I noticed was the "warehouse" type lighting the "cool white" seemed to produce. Took a long time for our eyes to get used to them, as in days. They didn't interfere with radio or Bluetooth reception and cannot speak to TV reception as there was none where we are. They did not fade or yellow with time and they were usually on for 5-6 hours each night. They did offer another LED that mimicked the incandescent color tone, thinking about ordering those instead. Might be easier on the eyes.
