A few mods on the new 2701SS

A few pics of the mods I've done so far on the 2701SS. Let me know if the pics don't show up. Seems pbase has gotten snooty about linking their pics. I can host them on my own site, if req'd.

This is my favorite: rearview cam with backup lights. How cool is that?

Second battery with a cutoff switch:

Hoppy hitch level and coupler pin:

Holes in propane cover. Why don't they come from the factory this way?

Tornado in the black tank:

Awning saver:

Winterizing kit and accumulator:

Couple of nifty boxes on the wall:

Got a couple more things to do, but just wanted to share if you're interested.

nice mods
i to installed an accumulator right off, really helps

the awning saver is a good idea, wish my awning was close enough to the ground to put it on
tell us more about the rear camera and how you wired it, etc. i have often thought about doing it but didnt want to be the scape goat
pics showed up great
thanks

All the details are here:

I am spoiled with this setup. Only thing I would consider changing is getting one of the LED displays that mounts on the rearview mirror. Just too lazy to run the cables into the overhead.

Great mods! You've been busy over the last couple of weeks. We just got ours loaded with our stuff from the old trailer and waiting on the replacement converter. I think I might have to use some of your ideas! Great job.

Great mods.... I do like the cam and BU lites... very sharp!

What an accumulator do? Please don't say accumulate.

softens the accumulations of pressure surges developed from the onboard water pump.

makes a smoother delivery while under water pump power in the shower
and it keeps the pump from on o ff on off on offf oonn ooooffff so much
well worth the expense i say

ohhh. In as much as I only use the water pump for antifreeze uptake, I guess it's not for me but sounds like a good idea.
