A winter's worth of mods & upgrades

I've spent the past few months doing a whack 'o modifications and upgrades to our Coachmen Catalina 20RD. I installed 8 drawers (with RV slides), added shelving to upper cabinets, installed 5 new cabinet doors, had cabinet drawers and door fronts made up to match the existing ones, modified the dinette table legs, modified the dinette seating, installed new laminate flooring, added new lights and switches, and much more.

We don't have the longest or fanciest of trailers out there. Every square inch of usuable space for storage or function is extremely valuable. So one of the things I've attempted to do is maximize storage space. I've also tried to address function, like lack of counter space, where I can. And finally, we wanted to make the interior feel like home, hence the use of laminate flooring for example. DW and I are very happy with how it's turned out. We have our first outing booked in a couple of weeks so the snow and hail and cold weather better be gone so we can enjoy our work.

You can see it all along with comments in my photos section. I've just uploaded over 50 photos.

Here's a few sample photos:

Thanks! The flashlight holder was another frustrating search. It almost seems like they are in short supply. I tried directly from www.towrax.com but you have to go through the payment process to order it and they don't tell you how much the shipping cost is until after your payment is processed. Not good, so I searched for another source. I ended up getting it from a local ATV and snowmobile shop that sells accessories. They listed it on their website but they had to special order it. I think I ended up paying just under $15. Nice holder actually. Nothing to it - it's just a bent piece of aluminum with a couple of grommets but it does the job and looks okay. Nothing else around it seems. Also, it fits any flashlight with D cells.

The gauge measures the water pressure. I wanted a location that is easy to see and that was an out of the way spot. I replumbed under the sink while I was installing a couple of filters so it wasn't that hard to do.

Each of the 50+ photos I uploaded has explanatory comments. I'm not sure if I have done it correctly. Maybe it's just the way it works on this site. It looks like you have to click on each photo one at a time to be able to see the comments. If you click "slide show" the comments aren't there. Am I doing this wrong or should I be uploading to an album? It's really time-consuming to click on each photo...

Lol, I know!

After spending what seemed like hours editing and uploading the photos and learning how it worked, I noticed the option to set up an album. Then I saw that it said I had to upload each photo again. That's about when I gave up and decided to go watch TV instead.

Is setting up an album the better way to do it?

Nice mods. As for a flashlight holder. Check bass pro. That is were I got mine for my D cell mag light. I think it was about 8 bucks.

etrailer.com has these flashlight holders. I just picked one up for $8.95 / $4.99 shipped to Ohio. Total:$13.94

There is someone on ebay selling a lot of 6 of these for $10 + $12 shipping. That's pretty cheap per each if anyone wanted a few of them. We paid around $15 for just one at a local shop.
