Our trailer had a closet with an open shelf on top. This allowed for a more open feel to the upper bunk, but this space usually ended up with stuff piled on it, looking messy and not feeling very open.
I built this cabinet to give us some more closed off storage space. I tried to make it look as close as possible to the factory cabinets.
The new cabinet has a front area with a door, on the right side is a pocket for the bunk curtain to store into when not in use. Behind the closed area is a shelf section with plastic bins for the kids clothes. Behind the shelf area is an open space for the TV.
I got most fo the materials (Door and solid stock wood pieces) direct from Forest River
