Adding 2nd ac

I'm adding a 2nd ac to my tracer 3200 bht 50 amp service. What is the best way to remove sealed from the vent to be removed?

I used a small amount of heat(heat gun) and a plastic putty knife to gently remove what caulking I could. My new AC sealed great, even with a minor amount of old caulking left on the surface

No, just the foam piece, as far as I know. I watched a couple YouTube videos, and did like you are, following others experience. It was easy, other than getting the Unit onto the roof. Bobcat skid steer helped that.
